Frequently Asked Questions
-
Most cleaning services focus on completing a checklist. Home & Flow focuses on how your home functions and feels once the work is done.
Many clients begin with Spatial Alignment, which helps uncover how your home is naturally oriented to support rest, focus, movement, creativity and connection. This understanding creates clarity about what your space actually needs — not just what looks tidy on the surface.
Foundation care then brings that insight into daily life through thoughtful cleaning, deep resets, decluttering, and organizing. Every session is shaped around your home, your rhythms, and what will make the biggest difference right now.
When you work with me, you’re working directly with the person who reviewed your intake, understands your home, and personally cares for your space.
The goal isn’t just a clean home. It’s a space that feels lighter, calmer, and more supportive of the way you actually live.

Home & Flow currently offers two levels of care in the Atlanta metro area:
Spatial Alignment
This is for clients who want to understand how their home is meant to support them. Spatial Alignment involves in-home mapping, layout assessment, and personalized recommendations that clarify what’s working, what isn’t, and why. Many clients choose this first to gain insight before making physical changes.Foundation
This is the practical, hands-on care that brings alignment into daily life. Foundation services may include one or more of the following:Basic household cleaning (ongoing care or one-time care)
Deep cleaning for kitchens and/or bathrooms only
Decluttering with care, no judgment
Organizing systems aligned with how you actually live
Foundation services focus on living spaces within the main home. Garages, storage rooms, and closets are not included unless specifically discussed and scheduled.
-
Start by completing the intake form first. Submitting the intake form does not commit you to a session. It’s simply the first step in determining fit and scope.
-
No, you don’t need to do Spatial Alignment before starting Foundation services. Some clients begin with Foundation-level care to get immediate relief and intentional order in their home. Thoughtful cleaning, deep resets, decluttering, and organizing can make a big difference on their own.
That said, Spatial Alignment can enhance the impact of Foundation services. By understanding how your home is naturally oriented — how each space is meant to support rest, focus, movement, creativity and connection — we can make adjustments that help your home feel lighter, calmer, and more aligned with the way you actually live.
You can choose to start with either service, or do them together — whichever feels most helpful for your home right now.

-
Your Spatial Alignment session is designed to help you understand your home’s natural flow so every change you make afterward works.
Before the session
I visit your home to capture its orientation, layout, and key areas
I take photos (for my reference only) and gather details about your home’s current use and your priorities
After the visit
I spend time at my office analyzing the home’s elemental orientation and reviewing photos
I create a personalized home map and recommendations for how each space can best support rest, focus, movement, creativity and connection
Sharing the results
You receive a copy of your home map and written recommendations electronically
We can also schedule a walkthrough where I guide you through the map and explain suggestions in person
By the end of this session, you’ll finally understand how your home is meant to flow in support of you — and you’ll have clear, actionable recommendations to align your space with your life.
-
Sometimes. It depends on the type and scope of support you’re seeking.
For basic household cleaning or deep cleaning, photos and intake details are often enough to plan your session thoughtfully.
For decluttering or organizing, an in-home consultation may be recommended before scheduling hands-on work. This allows me to understand how the space is currently functioning, assess scope, and ensure the approach feels aligned and supportive — not rushed or surface-level.
If a consultation is needed, I’ll let you know after reviewing your intake form and explain next steps clearly.
-
Duration depends on your home’s size, condition, and which services you select. I’ll provide an estimate after reviewing your intake form.
-
No. You’re welcome to be home or away — whatever feels most comfortable for you.
Some clients prefer to be present, especially during decluttering or organizing sessions.
If you won’t be home, we’ll coordinate access details in advance. Your home and privacy are always treated with care and discretion.

-
Yes. Home & Flow is intentionally owner-led, which means you’ll work directly with me for every session. This consistency allows me to understand your home deeply and care for it thoughtfully over time.
-
I love working in homes with pets and I am happy to accommodate them whenever possible.
That said, for everyone’s comfort and safety:
Friendly, calm pets who are comfortable with new people and household activity may remain out during the session.
Pets who may follow closely, or pets who become anxious, protective, or reactive — especially around vacuums — should be crated, kept in a separate room, or taken to pet care during the session.
If there is any chance a pet may bite, become aggressive, or feel distressed, they must be securely separated before I arrive.
Please note:
I’m unable to work in a space where a pet’s behavior creates a safety concern.
If I arrive and a pet is not properly secured, the session may need to be paused or rescheduled in accordance with the policy.
You can share details about your pets in the intake form so we can plan in a way that feels respectful to both your home and your fur babies.
-
For decluttering sessions, all decisions about what to keep, donate, or discard remain with you. My role is to guide, support, and create clarity — never to decide on your behalf unless explicitly requested.
-
Please disclose any safety concerns, accessibility considerations, or health-related conditions in advance. I’m unable to provide services in environments that pose a safety risk without prior discussion and planning.
For homes with pets or sensitive spaces, I’ll coordinate with you to ensure a safe, respectful session.
If I encounter hazards during a session that were not disclosed, I reserve the right to pause work until it’s safe to continue.
-
I bring standard cleaning and organizing supplies unless otherwise discussed. If you prefer specific products or have sensitivities, please note this in your intake form.
-
Your home, belongings, and personal information are treated with complete discretion. Photos are used only for planning purposes.
-
I reserve the right to pause or decline services if a space or situation falls outside the scope of what Home & Flow can safely or respectfully support. If this occurs:
I will communicate clearly with you about the reason for pausing or declining the session
Together, we’ll discuss the next steps and come to a mutual agreement
Any payment already made will be handled fairly — this could include a partial refund, credit toward a future session, or rescheduling, depending on the situation
My goal is to ensure safety, respect, and alignment for me, you and your home
